SmartWay Rijschool is a driving school in Eindhoven and surrounding areas and Mierlo and surrounding areas, specialising in category B driving lessons. This privacy policy covers the use of this website and does not automatically apply to other ways in which we process personal data, for example when scheduling driving lessons. Please contact us directly with any questions about that.

SmartWay Rijschool (Chamber of Commerce/KvK no. 42051751), based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this privacy policy.

This website is static: no cookies are placed and no tracking software or analytics are used to monitor your visit.

Fonts and other technical files are loaded directly from our own server rather than from external services such as Google Fonts. As a result, visiting this website does not share any information about you with such external parties.

When you call, WhatsApp us, or open a link to WhatsApp through this website, you share your own phone number with us via your phone or via WhatsApp. We only use this number to answer your question or to schedule a trial lesson or driving lesson with you.

If you click a WhatsApp button on this website, you open the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web, a service provided by Meta. Any conversation you have there is covered by WhatsApp/Meta’s own privacy policy, not by this one. We have no control over how WhatsApp processes that data.

We process the contact details you share with us (for example through a phone call or WhatsApp message) to answer your question, schedule a free trial lesson or driving lesson, and inform you about our packages. The legal basis for this is that the processing is necessary to take steps, at your request, prior to entering into an agreement, or our legitimate interest in answering your question.

We do not keep the contact details you share with us for longer than necessary to handle your question or, if you become a learner, for as long as necessary for your driving education and the statutory (tax) record-keeping obligation that applies afterwards.

You have the right to know what data we process about you, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, and you can object to the processing. Please contact us by phone or WhatsApp to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy policy, for example when the website is extended with new features such as a contact form or online booking. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
